Maintenance workshops in Damascus governorate have finished the asphalting works of Khartoum Street, which extends from Sheikh Raslan Mosque in Bab Touma to Al-Bitar roundabout in parallel with the damaged asphalt skimming on Kiwan Road in Al-Rabwa after Tishreen Bridge towards Umayyad Square and Uhud Street in Barzeh Housing towards the Police College.
The Director of Maintenance in Damascus Governorate, Eng. Mohammad Hamamieh, told SANA that the area of Khartoum Street, which was asphalted more than 14 thousand square meters, needed more than 1300 tons of asphalt, pointing out that the Directorate workshops continue the work of repairing the damaged asphalt in Rukn al-Din and several neighborhoods in the city.
Hammami pointed out that the workshops are following up the works of equipping a road in the associations area in eastern Damar and brushing it with a material estimated at a distance of about 300 meters and a width between 4 meters to 8 meters.He pointed out that paving roads, skimming and asphalting and restoring the damaged asphalt is in accordance with the service plan set by the province.
Maintenance workshops removed the concrete blocks in the garages of Sednaya in Zabaltani according to Hamamiya, who confirmed that these workshops are continuing in cooperation with the directors of services and hygiene departments in the rehabilitation and maintenance of roads and sidewalks and public utilities and beautification and the removal of rubble within the plan.
