Demonstrations in all Lebanese regions continued today to demand better living conditions, prevent new taxes and hold corrupt people to account amid warnings of continued road closures.

Several public and private institutions in Lebanon announced the closure of their doors for the thirteenth day in a row. Public and private schools, universities and institutes continued to be closed and the strike was fully committed. The Association of Banks in Lebanon also announced the closure today.

The traffic control chamber reported that the South Beirut road in Khaldeh, Ouzai, the Khaldeh triangle, Tire, Sidon and Jiyeh road was cut, and the soft road from Saida to Beirut was cut, noting road blocks in the Chouf area of ​​Mount Lebanon.

In Akkar, it was announced that most of the main and secondary roads linking the area with the rest of Lebanon through the Minieh-Denniye district were closed until further notice, including the Abda roundabout and its subdivisions.

In Koura, it was announced that the Kfarhazir highway in Koura will continue to be cut towards Chekka by protesters who have been overnight in tents despite stormy weather and rain.

The Zahle road was cut off to Beirut at the Zahle Saadnayel roundabout in the Qib Elias Jadita junction and in the capital Beirut most internal roads are now closed with tires and protesters and cars were prevented from crossing most of these roads, which created confusion and tension between citizens and protesters.
