Temperatures continue to fall below average in most regions as the country continues to be affected by an atmospheric depression that extends across all layers of the atmosphere, accompanied by a relatively cold and humid air mass.

The Directorate of Meteorology expected in its publication this morning that the atmosphere will remain partly cloudy in general with the opportunity to continue to show thunderstorms of rain, especially over coastal areas and the north-west and the island and be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes and warns of the formation of fog on the highlands and some inland during the early morning hours The winds will be westwesterly to northwesterly between light and moderate sea and light wave height.

Tomorrow temperatures tend to rise but remain below their average levels and the atmosphere tends to stabilize and become partly cloudy and partly cloudy in general with little chance of showers on the coastal highlands and the island.

The rain bulletin issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform showed the amount of rainfall in a number of governorates during the past 24 hours, where the heaviest was 62 mm in the city of Tartous.

According to the bulletin, precipitation was recorded in Damascus countryside in Hermon, Sargaya 5 mm and Yabroud 1 mm.

In Lattakia governorate, rainfall was 38 mm in Mzairah, 15 mm in Qardahah, 41 mm in Qutbeliya, 23 mm at Al-Basel airport, 10 mm in Qandil Valley, Kassab 5 mm and Al Haffa 3 mm.

In the province of Tartous recorded in Qadmus 17 mm and Sheikh Badr 27 mm and Mashta Helou 10 mm and Drikish 18 mm and in the bath wasel and Safsafh 12 mm and in Banias 25 mm.

In the governorate of Homs, Nazareth, Makhram, 12 mm, Marmarita 15 mm, Shin, Qal'at al-Hosn, 17 mm, Al-Arida 14 mm, and Al-Qaryatain 1 mm.

In Hama governorate, it was recorded in Rusafa and Wadi al-Oyoun, 15 mm, Masyaf 12 mm, Harbnafsa 5 mm, Salmiya and Asan 3 mm and Aqirbat 12.

In Aleppo governorate, precipitation was 15 mm, Azaz 18 mm, Jarablus 4 mm and Bab 7 mm.

In Quneitra governorate, it was recorded in Hadrama 8 mm. In Daraa governorate, the amount of rainfall in Azraa was 15 mm, in Nawa, Al-Sheikh Miskeen and Al-Sanameen 5 mm.

In Raqqa, it recorded 9 mm in Ain Issa and 8 mm wells.

In Al-Hasakah in Al-Malikiyah 6 mm, Zuhairiya 7 mm, Al-Qahtaniyah 8 mm, Al-Darbasiyah and Al-Jawadiyah 5 mm.
