As government spokesman Steffen Seibert said, Altmaier does not fly as planned on Thursday with Chancellor Angela Merkel to India.
Altmaier had fallen on Tuesday at the digital summit in Dortmund when leaving the stage and injured was taken to a clinic. The 61-year-old suffered a broken nose and suffered a laceration, bruises and abrasions.
