(CNN Spanish) - Two people killed and six injured is the balance of the clashes that were recorded this Wednesday in the municipality of Montero in the department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
The Bolivian Ministry of Government confirmed in a statement this "unfortunate balance" and announced an investigation to "identify the intellectual and material authors" of these events. The public body called for the pacification and cessation of all acts of violence in Bolivia.
Thousands of people protest, want "to repeat the elections" and do not recognize the questioned electoral victory of Evo Morales.
Violence spreads throughout the country and the UN called to reduce tension, respect the rights and freedoms of all Bolivians, and expressed concern about the serious acts of violence reported.
