Iranian Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Saeed Nemki said that the stock of medical equipment and equipment is sufficient and there are no concerns to secure essential medicines at any point in the country despite the continued US embargo.
"Despite all the problems of securing hard currency, all pharmaceutical factories in the country have the raw materials needed to produce them," Nemki was quoted as saying during a visit to Iran's northern province of Gilan. It pushed Iran to move towards domestic production of pharmaceutical raw materials.
The pharmaceutical industry in Iran has become a source of strength for the country, Nemki said.
