Nicaragua's riot police closed one of the entrances to the commercial center of Managua after a group of people gathered to ask for the release of some 130 protesters. In the clashes a journalist was injured. For their part, parents and family members of the "Mothers of April" association reported being victims of siege and persecution by the police.
