A two-year-old, alienated photo of Donald Trump causes a stir because the US President has now shared it with Twitter.
The original photo shows Trump honoring US Army doctor James C. McCloughan at the 2017 White House ceremony with the "Medal of Honor," the US government's highest military honor. The medal is placed around the receiver with a blue ribbon around the neck.
The alienated photo, which was distributed by the right-wing website "The Daily Wire", shows a dog instead of the military, more specifically: the dog Conan, who was deployed as a US special unit on the night of last Sunday Islamist leader al-Baghdadi in Iraq stormed and killed him. Trump "honors" the dog on the manipulated photo.

- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 30, 2019Trump had been sharply criticized for his behavior in connection with the killing of Baghdadi. Ex-military officials said that the president had revealed too much detail about the action at the press conference, while other commentators were bothered by the malice with which Trump described access to the ISIS terrorist militia and its final minutes. His references to the dog were considered downright bizarre: "Our 'K9' as they call him, I call him a dog, a beautiful dog - a talented dog - was injured and brought back," Trump said Sunday.

The fact that Trump does not bother with this criticism as always shows the reaction to the dog assembly. While responding to critical coverage of the battle cry "Fake News", the flattering confirmation of his dog enthusiasm is highly appreciated.
The real Conan will leave the Middle East next week, Trump said on Twitter. Target of the four-legged friend: the White House.
