The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) announced Friday that it has successfully conducted a test of massive missile launchers.
According to the DPRK's Central News Agency, the systems are capable of completely destroying a range of targets with a sudden missile strike.
President Kim Jong-un expressed satisfaction with the success of the test and congratulated the scientists who worked on the development of the missile systems.
In September, Pyongyang announced a test of an advanced super-sized rocket launcher.
The DPRK has always maintained that all its experiments are part of strengthening its self-defense capabilities in the face of open US hostile threats.
