Al-Taweel pointed out to the continued sale, screening and sterilization of wheat seed received for the 2019 season, where the quantities sifted from them to secure the needs of the agricultural plan to date about 1100 tons, pointing to the availability of good quantities of barley seed at the Foundation branch for farmers wishing to get them to start the implementation of plantings during the next few days.
The Directorate of Agriculture endosperm has developed a plan to plant an area of 33354 hectares with wheat crop and 20,614 hectares of barley for the 2019-2020 season.
