Spain instead of Chile: After the relocation of the UN Climate Change Conference, climate activist Greta Thunberg is looking for a way to cross the Atlantic again in a climate-friendly way. "It turns out that I've traveled halfway around the world, in the wrong direction," the 16-year-old Swede wrote on Twitter on Friday. Now that the Climate Change Conference has officially moved, she'll need help.
"I have to find a way to cross the Atlantic in November," she wrote. "If anyone could help me find a transport, I would be so grateful."
As # COP25 has officially been moved from Madrid to Madrid I'll need some help.
It turns out I've traveled around the world, the wrong way :)
Now I need to find a way to cross the Atlantic in November ... If anyone could help me find transport I would be so grateful.

Thunberg had traveled on a sailing ship across the Atlantic in August, because it set a sign for more climate protection and therefore did not want to fly. She spoke in front of the United Nations in New York, but the planned Climate Change Conference in Santiago de Chile had also been the occasion for the arduous journey.
After Chile had canceled this because of the violent social protests in the country, Spain's government had offered help. Now the summit is supposed to take place in Madrid.
