2019-11-02T07:10:45.947Z

An Israeli retaliatory strike on the Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian. Two people were injured. Previously there had been rocket attacks from the Palestinian territory.

The Israeli army has air-raided the Gaza Strip. Here, according to Palestinian information, a man has been killed. The death toll is a 27-year-old, said the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip. Two other Palestinians were injured. All three were civilians.

Israel had responded to air strikes on rocket fire from the coastal area. The Israeli army claimed to attack only positions of Islamist Hamas.

On Friday night, a rocket from Gaza hit a house in the city of Sderot in southern Israel. Nobody was injured, said the rescue service. According to the army, militant Palestinians fired ten rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel. Eight had been intercepted by the defense system Iron Dome (iron dome). At night, it came to further fire.

Gaza-ruling Hamas is viewed by Israel, the US and the EU as a terrorist organization. She had violently seized control of the Gaza Strip in 2007 and insisted on the destruction of Israel.

So far, no one committed to the shelling

According to the IDF, Gaza Strip targets included a naval base, a base with an anti-missile simulator, and a weapons factory. "The Israeli army holds Hamas responsible for all events that take place in and out of the Gaza Strip," it said in a statement. None of the militant Palestinian organizations in the Gaza Strip initially confessed to the rocket fire.

Only on Thursday had militant Palestinians fired a rocket to Israel according to Israeli statements. The army then attacked two Hamas bases in the coastal area.
