The Committee on Budget and Accounts in the People's Assembly discussed the investment budget of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies for 2020, amounting to 42 billion and 679 million and 230 thousand Syrian pounds.
In response to the members' interventions, the Minister of Transport Eng. Ali Hammoud pointed to the ministry's efforts to secure two planes for the Syrian Arab Airlines and to work on the rehabilitation of the airports of Damascus and Aleppo and the maintenance and rehabilitation and rehabilitation of structures damaged by terrorism according to priorities. Damascus Aleppo railway will be completed by the end of this year in parallel with the maintenance of the Aleppo Homs line.
