The Iranian army confirmed its readiness and vigilance to confront any sabotage move to disturb the security and stability of the country, pointing to the failure of US policies in the region aimed at provoking division and wars there.
"This day proves more than ever that America's regional policies are failing and that White House politicians are working to achieve their goals by spreading division and provoking wars," the Iranian military said in a statement on the occasion of the National Day to Combat Global Arrogance.
The statement stressed that the Iranian people have demonstrated that they have a serious resolve to fight arrogance and followers.
The National Anti-Arrogance Day was held in Tehran in front of the former US Embassy building with the participation of political and military figures and large crowds of Iranian citizens.
In a speech, Iranian Army Commander Major-General Abdul Rahim Mousavi stressed that America is the main supporter of Zionism and has done everything in its power to protect the Shah's regime in Iran, but failed to do so, stressing that the Iranian people proved on November 4 the possibility of the collapse of the wall of injustice and US tyranny.
In the same context, condemned the participants in the marches of the National Day to combat arrogance attempts by America and the Zionist entity to sow discord among Islamic countries.
They stressed in a statement issued at the end of their marches that the strategy of effective resistance in the face of demonic machinations of America is a ideological duty of the Islamic Revolution and its humanitarian message, stressing that America remains the first enemy of humanity and can not be trusted.
On November 4, Iranians commemorate the storming of the Iranian Revolutionary Leader Imam Khomeini's storming of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.The National Anti-Arrogance Day is held this year under the slogan 'Fighting Arrogance and Islamic Resistance as the Beginning of America's Fading and Collapse'.
