HAVANA - SANA - The 37th session of the International Havana Exhibition opened in the Cuban capital of Havana on Saturday.

The 37th session of the Havana International Fair opened in Havana, Cuba, with the participation of the Syrian Arab Republic.

During his visit, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca stressed the importance of enhancing economic relations between the two countries and elevating them to the highest levels and communicating with Syrian chambers of commerce, companies and businessmen to discuss possibilities of cooperation between the two sides in this important sector.

Malmierca expressed his admiration for the Syrian pavilion and its contents, which included samples of some products, especially food, including welcoming Syria's participation in this important economic event.

For his part, the Syrian ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Mia, stressed the keenness of the concerned authorities in Syria to participate in the exhibition in the belief that the relations between the two countries and the two friendly peoples are deep and the importance they attach to the development and strengthening of economic and trade relations between the two sides.

The exhibition was also visited by several ambassadors of accredited countries in Cuba, representatives of chambers of commerce and foreign companies participating in the exhibition and some journalists and journalists.
