Homs-Sana Homs City Council started to remove buildings falling down in Omar Bin Al-Khattab Street

Homs City Council has started to remove buildings that fall into Omar Bin Al-Khattab Street in order to qualify them and serve them as part of the work to connect the main axes within the city's neighborhoods.

Engineer Haider Al-Naqri, Director of Works at the Council, told SANA that three buildings have been removed within the main axis of the mentioned road, which connects Hama road and the 16th of October Corniche in order to rehabilitate the street, explaining that it will move to Othman Bin Affan Street in Al-Qarabis neighborhood to remove the fallen buildings. It is considered to be a major hub within the neighborhood where it connects 16th of October road to Al Mimas Road and Al Houl Market in the industrial area.

Al-Naqri pointed out that work is on linking the main axes within the city's districts, which include 7 main streets, Othman Bin Affan, Saudi Arabia, Qasim Amin, Hama Road, Cornish of 16 October, Nizar Qabbani and part of Dalal Nshiwati Street, which connects Al Fakhoura Roundabout and Sami Al Shawa Street.
