The meeting of the President of Damascus University, Dr. Maher Qabakibi, with Prof. Ferdinald Dano, President of the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, focused on ways of developing scientific and academic cooperation relations between the two sides in accordance with the specialties and common needs.

He pointed to the university's keenness to develop scientific relations with various universities in the world, while Professor Dano pointed out the importance of developing scientific research and benefit from Syrian academic expertise, stressing the readiness of the Slovak University of Economics, which has a scientific agreement with Tishreen University two years ago to develop its relations with Damascus University and universities. On the other hand, the President of Damascus University discussed with the Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Khairat Lama Sharif and the accompanying delegation the development of joint relations in the scientific and cultural fields.
