The Special Assistant to the President of the Islamic Shura Council for International Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, reiterated his country's support for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity and in its war on terrorism in all its forms and names.
During a meeting in Tehran on Monday, Abdullah Ragheb, member of the People's Assembly and vice president of the Syrian-Iranian Parliamentary Friendship Association, praised Syria's achievements in the war on terrorism and its supporters, which contribute to achieving security and stability in the region.
For his part, Ragheb pointed to the need to strengthen relations, especially parliamentary between the two countries in order to support the unification of common visions on the challenges and ways to face them, pointing out that activating the work of the Syrian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce enhances economic cooperation between the two countries in the face of economic terrorism faced by the two countries.
Ragheb expressed appreciation for Iran's stand by the Syrian people in the face of the terrorist war against his country.
The two sides discussed ways to activate the work of the Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Society in a way that reflects positively on the peoples of the two countries.
