Damascus, (SANA) - The budget and accounts committee of the People's Assembly discussed the investment budget of the Ministry of Justice and the others

The Committee on Budget and Accounts in the People's Assembly discussed the investment budget of the Ministry of Justice and its affiliated bodies for 2020, amounting to two billion and 872 million and 100 thousand pounds.

Committee members' interventions focused on re-equipping justice in areas liberated by the army from terrorism in all governorates, increasing the number of judges, speeding up the automation of judicial work, appointing a judge in police stations, coordinating between judicial and police stations on the subject of research broadcasts and solving the problem of similarity of names.

He called on the members to increase the number of terror courts to speed up cases and immunize justice and judicial officials, fight corruption, speed up the completion of the judicial palace in As-Suwayda, restore the judicial palace in Aleppo and activate judicial inspection.

Minister of Justice Hisham al-Shaar said that the ministry is working to speed up the litigation procedures, especially for the terrorism courts, where the number has been increased. The final phase of electronic notification by messages will be implemented before the end of this year with the aim of establishing a network with the Ministries of Interior, Transport and Real Estate.
