Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Wang Qijian reiterated his country's stance in support of the unity and sovereignty of Syria on its territory.
"China stands with Syria to extend its sovereignty over all its territory and supports the return of displaced people to their cities and livelihoods," Keijian said during a meeting with Dean of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Lebanon Caesar Obaid.
Qijian also stressed that China stands with Lebanon, safeguards its stability and unity, supports just and just international issues and respects the sovereignty of countries.
Obaid highlighted the importance of China's role and policies towards the countries of the region, which are based on the principle of respecting national sovereignty and rejecting all forms of foreign interference in state affairs.
