Organized crime in Mexico: drugs, dollars and death

For more than 13 years, Mexico has been living a double war: that of organized crime and against organized crime. This battle has figures, that of the dead and that of the profit left by the main business of organized crime. Mexican drug trafficking faced a severe blow this year with the sentence of life imprisonment of one of its main leaders, Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán. However, the capture and sentencing of El Chapo has not stopped the business or the violence.
