Dozens of police and citizens riot in different departments of Bolivia and ask for the resignation of President Evo Morales. The movement began in Cochabamba, the traditional bastion of the president. There the Operations Tactical Unit rebelled. They requested the resignation of the departmental commander, Raúl Grandy, who was already relieved of the charge by Jaime Edwin Zurita. At first, the Bolivian Police General Command said that the situation in Cochabamba was an "isolated" issue. From the Ministry of Defense they hope that the police command can control the situation.
