Alaeddin Boroujerdi, member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Shura Council, reiterated his country's support and strong commitment to preserving the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Syria.
During his meeting in Tehran today, Hossein Ragheb, a member of the People's Assembly and vice president of the Syrian-Iranian Friendship Association, expressed Iran's rejection of all forms and attempts to justify the Turkish invasion and occupation. Unilateralism imposed by America against the two countries.
Boroujerdi called for enhancing cooperation between Iran and Syria based on the friendly and historical ties between the two countries.
For his part, Hussein Ragheb stressed the illegality of coercive economic measures imposed by the United States on Syria and Iran.
