He pointed to the continuation of the implementation of a package of reforms issued by the Council of Ministers and the Iraqi Council of Representatives, which dealt with many of the constitutional and security reforms in addition to what was issued on the fight against corruption and the pursuit of inflation of officials' wealth and the resolution of issues of unemployment and improving services.
Abdul-Mahdi considered the demonstrations as a "precious opportunity to carry out radical reforms to combat corruption and other ministerial, service, economic, security, electoral and constitutional correct the paths of the state to put in the natural contexts as a state sponsor and protect the interests of the people."
