Tehran-Sana
Iran's Atomic Energy Organization spokesman Behrouz Kamalundi said work is continuing at the Fordo nuclear facility under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
"There was no progress within two months of taking the third step of reducing our commitments," Kamalundi told a news conference in Tehran.
Kamalundi said that IAEA inspectors will take tomorrow samples of enriched uranium, indicating that his country now has 9,500 modern centrifuges.
Kamalundi pointed out that the start of construction of the second unit at the Bushehr nuclear plant on Sunday despite the US sanctions against Iran sends a message to the United States that the Iranian people will continue their achievements and progress.
Kamalundi explained that the plan presented by the European side on the nuclear agreement has not been implemented on the ground, stressing that Iran will continue to reduce its nuclear obligations until the other side can implement its obligations.
The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization announced last Wednesday that Iran will begin enriching uranium at the Fordow facility in implementation of the fourth step of reducing its nuclear obligations in accordance with the nuclear agreement and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
