Yemen lacks 70 percent of its medication needs, while about 75 percent of the population has no access to health care as a result of the Saudi aggression, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said today.
"Fewer than 50 percent of health facilities in Yemen are functioning, while less than 30 percent of necessary medicines are provided," the committee said in a tweet on social networking site Twitter.
The Commission noted that "about two million children do not attend school because of the war and armed conflict that robs the future of entire societies."
The coalition led by the Saudi regime has continued its aggression against Yemen since March 26, 2015, leaving thousands of civilian casualties and massive destruction of infrastructure and economic infrastructure as well as siege and famine, which constituted a humanitarian disaster.
