Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the path of negotiation is open to maintain the nuclear agreement, pointing out that Iran has taken the fourth step in the course of reducing its obligations due to the violation of its rights in the nuclear deal.
"We have taken the fourth step and we have previously said that if the counterparty does not arrive," Zarif was quoted as saying on his arrival in Turkey to participate in the 24th meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Economic Cooperation (ECO) on Iran. "We will take the next steps."
Zarif added: “From the first day of the reduction of commitments under the nuclear agreement, it was announced by President Hassan Rouhani that we will continue negotiations as we take steps within the framework of the nuclear agreement and in response to cases of violation of the agreement by America as well as deficiencies and violations by the Europeans regarding the agreement".
The Iranian Foreign Minister: "We are negotiating with the various parties that want to maintain the nuclear agreement, as well as other countries that want this matter .. We have not closed the door to negotiation, the door is open to reach an understanding."
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on Wednesday that Iran had begun enriching uranium at the Fordow facility in line with the fourth step of reducing its nuclear obligations under the nuclear deal and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
