The second session of the Shanghai International Import Expo, which opened on the 5th of this month, concluded today with the participation of 55 countries including Syria and 26 international organizations.
"The exhibition witnessed the signing of initial deals worth $ 71.13 billion for the purchase of goods and services for one year, more than 23 percent from last year," said Sun Zhenghai, deputy director of the exhibition's office. A new future ”attracted more than 500,000 domestic and foreign buyers.
More than 230 companies from all over the world have registered for the third China International Import Fair in Shanghai, Sun said.
The Syrian pavilion at the Shanghai Expo witnessed a large turnout from the Chinese public, especially on olive oil products, light aromatic industries distilled in the way of distillation, Syrian specialties and heritage industries.
