Lula is free but not exonerated

Adrián Gurza Lavalle, a political scientist at the University of Sao Paulo, explains that the release of the former president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, does not exempt him from the process against him. In an interview with Carmen Aristegui, Gurza points out that what was resolved was the unconstitutionality of his stay in prison to end the trial outside of it. For Gurza, this fact changes the political landscape of the South American country and leaves the question of what this change of opinion means and if this would be sufficient for the presidential elections of 2022.
