Demonstrations and sit-ins continued in some areas of Lebanon today to demand better living conditions and fight corruption amid the spread of elements of the army and internal security forces.

Demonstrators continued to cut off roads in various areas, which increased the fear of its consequences, whether caused by obstructing the movement of food and medicine and fuel between the regions or the possibility of its development into security chaos.

Beirut's Riad El Solh Square witnessed a demonstration while a group of Lebanese in the town of Niha Chouf staged a popular march during which participants held Lebanese flags demanding the fight against corruption and corrupt.

In Tripoli, student demonstrations took place in the streets of the city, with participants holding the Lebanese flag demanding the formation of an efficient and impartial government. Other groups of demonstrators held sit-ins elsewhere in the city.

In Tire, Al-Elm Square witnessed a gathering in which participants headed towards the Central Bank of Lebanon amidst the security and military forces deployed in the vicinity of the square and all the way to the bank.

The movement of Baalbeck's children also organized a demonstration from schools of the poet Khalil Moutran, passing through the commercial market to the archaeological site opposite the entrance of Baalbeck Castle.

There have been demonstrations and sit-ins in many Lebanese areas since the 17th of last month in protest against the deteriorating living and economic conditions.
