The ambulance system in Hama Health Directorate played a pivotal role in rescuing the victims of terrorist attacks and traffic accidents in the governorate.
The system includes 34 ambulances and medical and nursing staff and drivers in the bodies of hospitals in Hama, Salmiya, Masyaf and Skeiliya National and in the medical ambulance points deployed in the province, namely Souran, Qamhanah, Salhhab, Mhardeh and Freika, according to Abdul Raziq al-Zubadi, the administrative director of the system, adding that the cars and cadres of the system are ready to respond For any distress call or ambulance request around the clock by calling the toll free number 110.
Al-Zubadi pointed out that each car is equipped with life-saving equipment such as resuscitators, sphygmomanometers, suction devices, micro-surgical instruments, medical stethoscope, oxygen cylinders, main bed, scoop bed, resuscitation bags, first aid and bruises.
The two nurses working in the system, Firas Dawa and Ismail Al-Sattouf, demanded the resumption of granting compensation for the nature of work, which has been suspended since 2004, along with fellow anesthesiologists, radiologists and physiotherapists, especially that the tasks assigned to them are of a delicate and sensitive nature and call for great efforts at all times and circumstances in addition to their medical and humanitarian responsibility in rescue and rescue. The lives of the injured, which increased due to the terrorist war on Syria, pointing out that a number of their colleagues were martyred, injured or kidnapped during the performance of his duty.
The Director of Hama Health Dr. Ahmad Jihad Abourah pointed out to the great efforts and efforts of the system's crews to help the wounded and injured in all circumstances and times, noting the high qualifications and skills of the staff of the system and ambulance cases of serious injury to hospitals as required by the standards and conditions to preserve the lives of their owners.
