Three Egyptian policemen were killed in a terrorist attack on a security post in Qalubia province today.
According to Al-Youm 7 website, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a security post in Kafr El-Hesafa village, Toukh police station in Qalubia and fled Harbin.
The security services began combing the area in an attempt to arrest the perpetrators and imposed a security cordon on the area, while the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
The Egyptian armed forces announced earlier this month the elimination of 83 terrorists and the arrest of 61 others in addition to the discovery of explosive devices and equipment and the detection of tunnels in a number of Egyptian areas.
