Beirut - Sana

A number of demonstrators protested in front of the French embassy in Beirut to reject foreign interference in Lebanese affairs and protest against the visit of the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the French Foreign Ministry Christophe Farno to Lebanon.

The demonstrators demanded the French state to release the Lebanese prisoner George Abdullah, who has been detained in French prisons since 1984 and is still arbitrarily detained despite the end of his sentence, on the back of his defense of the Palestinian cause.
