Evo Morales is heading to Mexico, while in Bolivia on Monday afternoon thousands of protesters in favor of Morales moved from the city of El Alto to La Paz. Morales resigned from his position on Sunday and the second vice president of the Senate, Jeanine Añez, is expected to be appointed as the president in charge until new elections are held. Añez is confident that by January 22 Bolivia will already have an elected president.
