The owners stressed the importance of the leading role they play in covering the local market with the Syrian veterinary pharmaceutical product equivalent to 90% of the need of livestock in addition to exporting surplus of pharmaceutical products that have maintained their high quality.
Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Ahmed Kadish, stressed the need to encourage the owners of factories to increase their production and attention to the species for export as it is a support for the national economy in addition to focusing on the quality of Syrian products of veterinary medicines to maintain its global reputation and achieve internal and external competition, allowing it to open new markets pointing to In the past years, the veterinary pharmaceutical industry covered the livestock needs of Syria.
Dr. Bassam Rabie, an agent of a pharmaceutical, veterinary and pesticide industry, pointed out the necessity of activating cooperation with the Syrian embassies as an economic interface by providing the necessary facilities for laboratories through the commercial attaché to serve and promote veterinary products, thus contributing to the opening of alternative markets for markets that were Previously, he pointed out that it was agreed to form a committee as a scientific body in the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine to support laboratories producing veterinary medicines and thus support Syrian products for marketing abroad.
Dr. Mohammad Radwan Abdeen from a second company for the manufacture of veterinary medicines pointed out that the insurance of the national veterinary medicine of high quality contributed to the provision of foreign exchange and dispensing with the importer, pointing out that the veterinary laboratories played an active role in securing veterinary medicine for various types of livestock internally, which contributed to reduce the cost for breeders The result of dispensing with import.
Dr. Ibrahim Hammad, director of marketing at a veterinary pharmaceutical factory, pointed out that the export before the war reached good levels, pointing out that production is currently of high quality.
Eng. Mohamed El Mohsen from a veterinary pharmaceutical company explained that there are directives to activate the agricultural work in general, including the veterinary medicine sector as it is an important economic sectors, calling for encouraging local production and replacing imports and encouraging local factories to export.
Dr. Mohammed Khair Al-Dahi explained that the raw materials are secure and good, pointing to the efforts of the ministry which supervises the production of factories through chemical compositions and the process of pharmaceutical quality and the pricing and marketing of materials to agricultural pharmacies and veterinary clinics.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Veterinary Medicine at the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Ziad Nimour.
