Workshops of the branch of the General Company for Roads and Bridges in the Eastern Region started the process of laying the asphalt shirt in the main street of Al-Radisat area with a length of 600 meters within the liberated neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor.
The head of the technical department at Deir Ezzor City Council, Eng. Samih Al-Khalil, said that the project of extending the asphalt shirt of the main street of the Radesat area is implemented by the workshops of the General Company for Roads and Bridges under a contract with Deir Ezzor City Council and extends from Hawija roundabout in the west to Souq Al-Hal roundabout in the east. The rehabilitation of the infrastructure in the street, including sewage, water, electricity and communications.
The director of the branch of the General Company for Roads and Bridges in the Eastern Province Engineer Ammar Haidar that the value of the contract amounted to 25 million pounds and includes paving the street and extending the asphalt shirt length of about 600 meters and width of 10 meters, pointing out that the duration of the implementation of the contract 30 days, but the company's workshops intensify its work to finish the work in Shorter duration in order to finish asphalting the streets in which the infrastructure works were completed before the rainy season.
For his part, member of the Executive Office of the Governorate of Deir Ezzor, Eng. Ziad Al-Kadhim, said that this project comes within the province's plan to reconstruct what was devastated by terrorism and rehabilitate the neighborhoods of the purified city of terrorism according to a correct vision based on the rehabilitation of each region or neighborhood fully and work to link neighborhoods with each other Up to the center of the city, indicating that the rehabilitation of both Jubaila Street and up to the market and the streets of Fouad Cinema and Port Said, which connects the districts of the city center liberated neighborhoods.
A number of residents noted the efforts exerted to rehabilitate the neighborhood, which started since its liberation from terrorism, and included sanitation, water, communications and electricity to the asphalt stage to become a fully recovered neighborhood.
