The Council of Churches of the Middle East condemned the assassination of armed pastor of the Armenian Catholic Church in Qamishli by priest Hosib Abraham Biduyan and his father.
The council said in a statement issued today: once again criminal terrorism strikes innocent people and takes the lives of unarmed citizens as the hands of treachery, criminality and terrorism have affected the Armenian Catholic pastor Husip and his father during their move from Hasakeh governorate to Deir Ezzor city to oversee the restoration of the Armenian Catholic Church in the city.
The statement pointed out that the Council condemns this heinous crime as well as all crimes against innocent people.
The priest Biduyan and his father were martyred by unidentified gunmen yesterday as they traveled from the province of Hasaka to Deir Ezzor.
