Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has confirmed that Iran has fulfilled its obligations under the nuclear deal, which the Europeans did not do, which made it pay heed to apply the compensatory measures in the agreement.
"While you were procrastinating in fulfilling your commitments, Iran has completed the dispute resolution mechanism and we are currently implementing the procedures," Zarif was quoted as saying in a tweet to his EU counterparts, Germany, France and Britain. Compensation provided for in paragraph 36 of the Nuclear Agreement.
He added that the Iranian side has fulfilled its commitments stipulated in the agreement, but what about the Europeans have they committed even one pledge during the past 18 months.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said yesterday that the West did not keep its promises on the issue of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and did not comply with its obligations under the nuclear deal with Iran.
