Former Bolivian President Evo Morales has said that the United States orchestrated the coup's legitimacy in his country, denouncing Washington's recognition of the new authority.
Reuters quoted Morales as saying in a tweet on his account "Twitter" that the coup against the legitimate Bolivian power is a political and economic conspiracy originating from the United States of America.
Morales expressed his condemnation of President Trump's decision to recognize those who declared themselves with the help of the police and armed forces government, noting that Washington had imposed Juan Guaido on Venezuela and finally announced Janine Anniz as president.
Bolivian radio "Arbol" published yesterday leaked recordings confirming the involvement of US lawmakers in the coup against President Morales.
The Bolivian president announced his resignation from his position a few days ago, describing an arrest warrant issued against him as illegal, pointing out that the putschists are destroying the rule of law.
