Dozens of students were exposed to mass poisoning in Upper Egypt.
Dr. Khaled Megahed, spokesman of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, said that all cases were inspected in the hospital to make sure they received the necessary medical care.
The ministry stressed the suspicion of food poisoning, noting to take the necessary tests and comprehensive analysis of cases and send samples of meals collected from students to determine the actual cause of their injury.
The students of the Al-Jafadoon Primary School felt intestinal colic, diarrhea and vomiting.
Health officials in the governorate confirmed that all cases that have been transferred to Beni Suef Specialized Hospital have been discharged.
