(CNN Spanish) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 shook central Chile on Friday, according to reports from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The seismic focus was located 14.7 km deep and the epicenter was located 75.3 kilometers northeast of San Antonio, Valparaíso, and 120.9 kilometers north-northeast of Valparaíso.
