The People's Assembly stressed that the proper construction, which has laid the foundations of the corrective movement, contributed to the steadfastness of the Syrian people during the past years, along with the steadfastness of the country's institutions in various sectors, and that the anniversary of the correction is an incentive to return Syria better than it was through continuing efforts and upgrading the working methods and the regulatory and legislative role.
The Council said in a statement on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the establishment of the glorious corrective movement that the anniversary of the correction is going on today at a time when the Syrian Arab Army is recording great victories and achievements in the face of the terrorist war on Syria and amid accelerated events and developments at various local, Arab and international levels.
The Council reaffirmed that the glorious corrective movement led by the founding leader Hafez al-Assad has laid the foundations of a strong and effective state capable of securing the interests of its people and protecting its sovereignty. And its plans and reconstruction to build a renewed new Syria.
