Today, our valiant armed forces celebrated the 49th anniversary of the blessed corrective movement led by the founding leader Hafez al-Assad and held military and sports parades in military units and barracks.
The leaders of military units and installations delivered speeches in which they affirmed that the corrective movement has effectively contributed to enhancing Syria's role and standing among the nations until it has become an insurmountable number and an impregnable fortress in the face of the Zionist-American conspiracy schemes and projects, stressing that Syria today is ably to restore its stability and preserve the dignity of its people and continue. In the face of terrorism, toppling the plans of its supporters and clearing the entire Syrian geography of the abomination of terrorism and its sponsors.
On this occasion, the Political Department, under the patronage of General Ali Abdullah Ayoub, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, and the Minister of Defense, today held a ceremony in honor of the outstanding military, retired, martyrs and missing persons who successfully passed the secondary certificates exams in its various branches and basic education.
Retired Gen. Mahmoud Abdel-Wahab Showa, Deputy Minister of Defense representing the patron of the celebration, delivered a speech in which he pointed out that the outstanding ones are the best able to add luminous pages in the way of educational achievement distinctive and necessary to fortify the nation and raise its banner and build a bright future proud of their children and bright minds capable of developing in all fields.
The first student delivered a speech expressing feelings of pride and pride in this honor, stressing that it is necessary to persevere and perseverance and determination in order to achieve success and excellence, which is in the service of the country and progress and prosperity.
During the ceremony, the distribution of certificates and symbolic gifts to the outstanding students, who in turn confirmed that they are dedicating this superiority to their fathers and fellow fighters who defend the pride and dignity of the homeland, stressing that the honoring of President Bashar al-Assad to them and his interest in them will continue to be an incentive and a light shining the path on the road to achieving the prosperity of the country. And increase his resistance, strength and resilience.
The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Damascus, the Secretary of the Damascus branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, the President of the Revolutionary Youth Union, and a number of high-ranking officers of the army, armed forces and high-ranking individuals.
