The authorities of the Turkish regime issued new arrest warrants for 174 people as part of its repressive and punitive campaigns under the pretext of the coup attempt in the country in July 2016, which is used by the authorities of this regime to tighten its control over the country and the mouths of its opponents.

The Turkish Prosecutor-General's office in Ankara issued yesterday arrest warrants for 174 people as part of a massive crackdown by the regime's authorities over the coup attempt.

Police raided apartments in 29 provinces and detained at least 45 suspects in connection with the preacher, Fethullah Gulen, who is accused by the authorities of masterminding the coup attempt and is looking for the other 299 warrants.

The report confirmed that the organs of the President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan dismissed more than 130 thousand people from their jobs while more than 30 thousand others are still in detention and has been investigated about 600 thousand people under the pretext of association with Turkish preacher Gulen.

The Erdogan regime has invoked the coup attempt and launched a massive reprisal campaign across the country with the aim of getting rid of all opponents of its policies, during which it arrested and dismissed thousands of military, police and judiciary officials, laid off tens of thousands of workers in various Turkish institutions and closed a large number of media.
