The leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Mr. Ali Khamenei, confirmed his support for the decision of the heads of the Iranian authorities on the subject of fuel rationing, calling on officials in the country to reduce its negative repercussions.
Khamenei said in statements today that the heads of the three authorities made a decision based on a deliberate vision and of course must be implemented .. There is no doubt that some segments will resent and be affected and concerned about the decision, but those who do acts of sabotage and burning property are the villains and not the people.
Khamenei pointed out that Iran's enemies, who have always supported the enemies of the revolution, acts of sabotage and riots in the country, are also doing so now, warning that unrest can reinforce and exacerbate the problems of any country, society and any reasonable person who loves his country does not resort to these methods.
Khamenei called on officials in the country to reduce the negative repercussions of the decision to raise fuel prices on the people, stressing that taking such a step is necessary because the high cost causes the suffering of the people.
He also called on them to be vigilant in maintaining security and carrying out their duties. "The Iranian people, who have always dealt with such acumen and insight with such events, should stay away from saboteurs," he said.
