The Directorate of Land Transport in Homs officially launched the central vehicle transactions management program after the successful experiment launched by the Ministry of Transport last week.

Engineer Khalil Al-Khalil, director of road transport in Homs, said that the program allows customers and owners of vehicles to conduct all transactions related to vehicles in Homs and Rural Damascus, the second step of the Ministry of Transport after the successful implementation of the program in rural Damascus first and will be circulated to the rest of the governorates respectively.

According to Hebron, the new program is an advanced version of what is in the Directorate, which can simplify the procedures and shorten the time and save the trouble of travel for citizens to carry out various transactions except the replacement of license plates for cars in each province, noting that the Directorate staff was trained to deal flexibly with the new program.

Hassan Makhoul, a technician at the Department of Contracts for Touristic Vehicles in the Directorate, pointed out that the new program allows all transactions from selling, buying, refurbishing vehicles and transferring ownership through a court ruling, except for the license plate service, which is registered by the Directorate where the car is registered. For dealers and employees.

A number of citizens expressed their satisfaction with the shortening of a lot of time and effort in completing the various transactions provided by the new program, hoping to expand its application in all governorates as soon as possible.

The Directorate of Land Transport in Homs last week witnessed the launch of the new program on a pilot basis by the ministry.
