Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani affirmed his country's continued support for the resistance in the face of threats from the Israeli entity.

Shamkhani said during a meeting with Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem that “the global arrogance regime seeks in the post-ISIL phase as the main element used to destabilize the region to provoke new crises within the region,” stressing that America has failed. In the implementation of schemes targeted Syria and the failure of its ban policies against the Lebanese resistance.

Shamkhani pointed out that the strategy of provoking chaos in Lebanon, which was used to compensate for the defeats in other arenas, failed today due to the awareness of the people, officials, parties and political currents in this country.

Shamkhani referred to the recent terrorist crimes committed by the Israeli entity against the Palestinian people in Gaza, describing these practices as the best proof of the need to continue confronting this entity.

For his part, Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that the resistance in Lebanon will not allow the Israeli entity to achieve its dangerous aims in the region, expressing appreciation for Iran's comprehensive support for the resistance in various arenas.
