The Egyptian judiciary today issued sentences ranging from death to life imprisonment and hardened to 21 terrorists for their involvement in the operation of the oases, which targeted security forces on October 20, 2017 in the governorate of Giza and killed 16 Egyptian security forces in addition to the injury of 13 others.
A Libyan court sentenced Libyan terrorist Abdul Rahim Mohammed Abdullah al-Mesmari to death for his involvement in the operation.
It also sentenced five terrorists to life imprisonment, 15 years imprisonment for a terrorist, 10 years 'imprisonment for 9 terrorists, and 3 years' imprisonment to 5 terrorists, while 30 other defendants were acquitted in the case of Operation Oasis.
Egypt has been witnessing for years the emergence of terrorist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS, which attacked Egyptian army centers and state institutions, killing and injuring dozens.
