(CNN Spanish) - The Venezuelan diplomatic corps that was in Bolivia returned early this Sunday to their country, days after the interim government of Bolivia announced the rupture of relations between both nations and ordered the departure of diplomats.

According to a statement issued by the government of the questioned President Nicolás Maduro, the return of the delegation, led by Ambassador Crisbeylee González, is due to “an intrinsic and cyclical breakdown of relations between the two Latin American countries as a result of the grotesque coup of State against the legitimate president, Evo Morales Ayma ”.

"The 13 officials that made up the mission and their families, including seven infants and seven older adults, were received at the Maiquetía International Airport 'Simón Bolívar' by the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza," the text states. .

Last Friday, the Foreign Minister of Bolivia, Karen Longaric, announced that all diplomatic personnel of the government of the besieged President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, will be declared unpleasant and that they must leave the country "for having gotten into internal affairs of the State."

The Bolivian Foreign Minister said that the decision was made after learning of the arrest of Venezuelan individuals who were arrested "dressed as police officers and with weapons." Longaric said the decision is covered by the Vienna treaty.

A day later, this Saturday, in a dialogue via Skype with Jeanine Áñez, interim president of Bolivia, the president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, recognized as interim president for more than 50 countries, said he hopes “in the next days appoint diplomatic representatives to Bolivia ”. Áñez responded by saying that they are “waiting for their representation to start talks with a democratic people”.
