The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Daraa has introduced a new batch of food assistance to the neediest people in the northern countryside.
The head of the Red Crescent branch, Dr. Ahmad Al-Masalmeh, told SANA today that 10 trucks loaded with 6050 food parcels and similar flour entered into towns in the northern countryside of Daraa with 2350 basket for Atman town, 3,000 basket for Khirbet Ghazaleh and 700 food basket in Namer town. .
Al-Masalmeh pointed out that the food aid falls within the framework of the fourth batch supported by the World Food Program, which targets the most needy people in the whole province.
Earlier, the branch delivered an aid convoy to the people in Sheikh Miskin city benefiting 5,100 families.
